SOFT Consortium Holds its 4th Online Transnational Project Meeting

The SOFT consortium held its 4th Online Transnational Project Meeting on 13 May 2026, hosted by CRETHIDEV, with the participation of project partners from Jordan, Egypt, Italy, and Greece.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to review the progress of project implementation and coordinate the next steps across key work areas. Partners discussed updates related to equipment procurement and installation, the co-design of training and lab centres, and the preparatory activities required for the development of academic and professional courses in smart organic agriculture.
The agenda also included updates on the EU desk research, field surveys conducted in Jordan and Egypt, and national focus group activities. These activities are essential for ensuring that the project’s training and capacity-building outputs are aligned with the needs of higher education institutions, agricultural stakeholders, and labour market requirements in the partner countries.
In addition, the consortium discussed preparations for the upcoming face-to-face meeting in Jordan, which will further support coordination among partners and contribute to the effective implementation of the project’s next phases.
